John and Helen’s entertaining, warm, encouraging teaching style will inspire you. Their story of fighting back from a painful, broken marriage has given them a message that has touched thousands.

John graduated from the U.B.C. faculty of Dentistry in 1978 and went on to pioneer two very successful dental practices. In 1986 John and Helen planted and began pastoring Victory Christian Centre, a thriving family church today with worship centres in Surrey and Vancouver, BC. Together they also host the successful television shows, “Pure Sex and Relationships” and “Family Success” and travel internationally, ministering on marriage, family and relationships. They have authoured several books, including 'The Miracle in a Daddy's Hug' and 'The Miracle in a Mother's Hug.'

John and Helen have been married for 31 years and have raised three daughters, all of whom are happily married.... Angela (married to Rod), Danica (married to Chris) and Ashley (married to Mike)... They also have six grandchildren... Madison, Miller, Medo, Grace, Shalom and Jack.
